Tuxedo

Good Morning! I cased this cute tux card here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/971533?cat=7477&si=tux%20card

It looked like fun to make. She used it for a prom invitation, but I think it would be useful for weddings too. It would be great for a grooms dinner invite, or a thank you to the groomsmen for being in the wedding. I wonder if there is a bride pocket card? Maybe I'll have to try to make one!

Here's what it looks like opened:

The pocket measures 11 x" 4 1/4" , scored at 5 1/2" and at 9 1/2". Fold the top down and adhere a 1 1/2" piece of card stock. I used a white piece of the specialty SU paper from the last catty. The shirt piece is 8 1/2" by 4 1/4" scored at 3 1/2 inches. Then I used my ruler to cut the pieces off to make the v shape. I used my scorepal to make the lines on the shirt, added some pearl buttons and a bow. That's it!

WOW Laurie! Fabulous card... very classy, clean and creative!!

I'm glad you didn't have any storm damage from Tuesday. We finished cleaning the yard tonight... it looked like fall with all the leaves on the lawn blowing in the wind, but there were GREEN! LOL... hope we get some produce out of the garden this fall! Just wait and see! :)
