Less is more card challenge....sketch 7

This was a fun sketch!

I knew right away what I wanted to do...and that was to use my Craft Lounge stampset called White Christmas. (Which is my fave Christmas movie and song! Check it out here on utube. They show Bing Crosby singing it in several movies and TV shows. I love old movies.) I haven't used this set much yet and hope I get a chance to make alot of cards with it this season.

I inked up an acrylic block with SU ballet blue and made my band by stamping with it 3 times. Then I came back with SU's  brocade blue ink and stamped the snowflakes inside. The sentiment is also stamped with SU's brocade blue.

I added some pearls to the centers, and because I am really into glitter especially for the Holidays, I glittered the snowflakes.

It just happened to snow last night so when I woke up this morning all was white! And icy, so I didn't make it to church today. The car in front of me slid right across the highway....so I turned around and came home. They hadn't salted or sanded yet. What a mess!

It was really pretty though....I love the first snow!

Such a cute card... love how you made the background with the three blocks. Very creative. And I love glitter too. Sweet snowflakes as well.

Lovely OLC. Fab colouring with stamping blocks & you can never have too much glitter (especially with snowflakes!)

Your snowy card is wonderful. My first attempt was with inky blocks and it ended in disaster! x
