I used some SU designer scrap paper for these cute little Memory Box die cut umbrellas. I took a couple of hours the other day to cut out things with some of my scraps. I have quite a collection of card candy now!
I am determined to use up some of this paper I have been hoarding for years! With the release of the new SU color refresh , I also went through my SU card stock and reorganized it all. I like to store my paper in hanging files by the SU color groups.
I also have one file drawer just for the retired colors I have. I'm always sad to see some of the colors go, but then again, I always like the new colors too. I decided I have way too much retired card stock and that I am not going to order any more this time. I even found some cranberry crisp...remember how long ago that color was out? I have so many other things on my list I want to get instead of more paper!
For this card you will also notice I used some bashful blue, which is one of the retiring colors that I am going to miss. BUT I did find that I was reaching for pool party more than this most of the time anyway. The rain drops you can see a bit better on this card, the last time the jewels looked like silver brads on a card I made similar to this. The sentiment is from Hero Arts, stamped in black.
I am still hopeful spring is on it's way....although there is a chance we will get more snow again tonite! Spring has to come sooner or later...I guess it's ALOT later this year!

Um. Okay, so when none of the adjectives I know work for describing how amazing I think a card is, all I can say is, dang. I actually use a stronger word, but dang will do for here. Oh, and "pinned!," of course!!
Love your umbrellas looping together and the bling for raindrops is brill. x
