The Paper Players

Hi everyone!

One of my New Years resolutions was to get my stamps out and get inky.

As you can see, I am not doing so great at that one!

I am stuck on dies.... and more dies.

Oh well, I have good intentions, and I did order some new stamps from Stampin Up, so maybe that will get me some inky fingers again!

But I just couldn't help myself on this one. LeAnne's challenge this week for The Paper Players is to make the sentiment the focal point of the card. I've had this cute baby sentiment from Paper Trey sitting on my desk for weeks, and I was just itching to use it. So once again, I used dies..all dies for this card!

I even dug into my stash of die cuts from years ago when I had my cricut going to find the tiny baby bottle and pin. I used to love to sit for hours and cut out stuff to add to my hoard!

I added some Lawn Fawn patterned paper to the back of the word die, and adhered that to a Lil inker stitched rectangle in SU pool party. Behind that I added a MFT stitched banner with some more patterned paper from Lawn Fawn.

Head on over to The Paper Players..we would love to have you play along!

A card with no ink? Perish the thought!! I absolutely don't have the die stash to pull that off. I think I need to go shopping (again)! Your card is so pretty that you should make dozens of these in all colors to keep on hand. Baby season is all year round!

That die is amazing! This is a wonderful card - the pin and bottle are adorable accompaniments to that sentiment.

Laurie, this is adorable!!!! I love the little elements to represent baby paraphernalia and the fact that the sentiment still shines. I also love that its not the traditional boy-blue. Fabulous card.
