Hi everyone!
Today Nance has a color challenge at The Paper Players:
I went pretty heavy on the black and red with just a tiny heart of Calypso Coral. The 3 colors are so pretty together, I wish I would have used more of it. Isn't that how it always goes? You get a card done, go back and look at it, and think of other things you would like to change. But no time for that...I have a ton of things on my list to do! But I will definitely make another card with that color combo again, especially after seeing some of the other DT cards.
You can check those out here:

I'm entering this at a few challenges:
Addicted to CAS: ( I used XO designer paper)
Curtain Call: ( I used XO designer paper)
Head on over to The Paper Players and play along!

I love how everything pops from that embossed, black background, Laurie! So glad you shared this with us at ATCAS!
GREAT card, Laurie! Love the red and black with just a punch of coral. Great use of the word dies too!
Laurie, I'm with you. I always look at my finish projects and want to change things! I think yours is perfect just the way it is, though. Love the beautiful embossed black background. It really makes everything else pop!

Love these Valentine--very striking!
Pretty card!! And don't worry about the Calypso Coral, sometimes just a smidge of a color is the best way to go! A very lovely Valentine :)
So pretty, Laurie! A perfect combination of colors and textures!
Laurie, I love the offset hearts - they are fabulous. I also love the bold look of your card - perfect with these bold colors.

Laurie, this is such a pretty Valentine! I love the little pop of color in the Coral. The embossing and that red banner is fabulous! XX
Gorgeous card! I combined my colours in a similar way - I think sometimes the one that you underplay really stands out if there is only a little of it. Love the xo heart and thinlit word die - perfect for Valentine's Day.
