The Christmas Card Challenge

Hi everyone!

I sure had lots of fun getting inky making this card for the Christmas Card Challenge!
I used the emboss resist technique. I haven't played around with that technique for quite some time. I forgot how fun it is!  I thought it would work well for this card.

Here's the beautiful inspiration photo:

First I stamped and embossed Penny Blacks, "Snowy Grove." I LOVE those gorgeous trees! Then I sponged on some SU Midnight Muse ink. I cut out the Memory Box Winter Cabin Landscape die in white. For a bit of bling, I added some silver glitter paper for the windows of the house.

Then I adhered the Santa and reindeer from Cheery Lynn . The sentiment is Katie and Company, stamped with SU black. I added a white frame using Impression Obsession 6 in 1 frame die.

In this photo you can see the texture from the embossing a bit better:

Be sure to head over and check out the DT cards and play along! We would love to see your creations in the gallery!
