Cheery Lynn Christmas Wreath

This is my last post as a Design Team member at the Christmas Card Challenge. It's been a fun 2 years...wow has the time gone by fast! I still plan to play along when I get the chance....after all..."I LOVE Christmas.....Christmas is my favorite!" That's from one my favorite movies....Elf!

I did alot of splattering with some white paint and a tooth brush for this card. It was fun but a bit messy.... LOL!

The wreath is from Cheery Lynn, and the sled from Memory Box. I decorated it with a bell from Jillian Vance, and a bow from Cheery Lynn. The sentiment is from CAS-Fridays Snowy Sayings.

I hope you will join us!

Cheery Lynn Minnesota "Home for Christmas"

Good Morning!

Here's the new challenge at The Christmas Card Challenges:

I was inspired by the reds and greens and made a VERY simple clean and layered Minnesota Christmas card.

The MN die is from Cheery Lynn, and I added the sentiment "home" from Technique Tuesday, and a simple pine branch from Cheery Lynn. The red tree is IN the patterned paper, I just cut it out so it is about where our hometown is...worked out perfectly!!! Inside I stamped," All hearts come home for Christmas."

I hope you will head over to the Christmas Card Challenges and play along!

Taylored Expressions Build a Tag 2

Here's the new photo inspiration at The Christmas Card Challenge:

The gingerbread house reminded me of the gingerbread boy die I have from Tonic Studios. I love the cute stitching.

I also used the Build a Tag 2 set from  Taylored Expressions, I use that set ALL the time! I love making tags.... it's SO much fun.

I had him hold a candy cane from Impression Obsessions Christmas Icons, then tied on some bakers twine.

I hope you will head on over to The Christmas Card Challenge and join us! Only 260 days or so till Christmas...never too early to get those cards done!

Memory Box Stacked Mittens

I'm just starting to put mittens and hats away...yay...spring is on it's way! I suppose there may be a few cold days yet...so I'll keep one pair of gloves out yet....just in case.

But the challenge at The Christmas Card Challenge this week is:

I used Memory Box Stacked Mittens, and some Lawn Fawn mini snowflakes.

I backed them on a Lil Inker rounded stitched rectangle. The paper is from My Minds Eye called Comfort and Joy, and I LOVE the bits of glitter on it! I love the Nordic patterns on the mittens too. Actually, that whole pack is awesome:)

I hope you will join us at The Christmas Card Challenge!

The white trees are from Tim Holtz, and the moose from Penny Black. I added some jingle bells around his neck, and then splattered the whole thing with some white acrylic paint.

Then I made a wreath with Cheery Lynn's Christmas Wreath set. I also added some Cheery Lynn Pine Branches and tied on some silver bells. The sentiment is from Reverse Confetti Winter Words.
