Happy Sunday!
This week at the Christmas Card Challenge its:
My fave!
A few months ago, I was at a friends house playing with alcohol inks, something we LOVE to get together to do! It's always so fun to see what awesome backgrounds you can make. We ooh and awe over each one! You can find out more about the technique here. Tim Holtz has a great video to watch.
We don't keep track of the inks we use..there are SO many and we just get busy creating. It's almost impossible to create two of a kind of any background using alcohol inks anyway. Believe me, we have tried! Each one turns out unique.
But I do have the name of my friend's stamp...it's called "Winter Evening" from Inkadinkado. ( I love saying Inkadinkadoo...haha) I stamped it with Stazon ink, as we use glossy paper for our backgrounds.
I framed the scene with Impression Obsessions 6 in 1 frame.
The card base is bashful blue...an oldie but goodie from Stampin Up!
I hope you join us at the Christmas Card Challenge..never to early to get going on those cards!
