Happy Sunday!
The Christmas Card Challenge this week is all about colors and presents:
Last year at a garage sale I found an old Sizzex present die for 50 cents. At the time, I needed it for a different challenge I was working on, and thought I would probably never use it again. But for 50 cents I couldn't go wrong. What a great buy!
When I saw the challenge photo for this week, and I immediately thought of it. I was worried I had gotten rid of it, but luckily there it was in my craft closet. This is why I never want to throw things out! It is also why I have so much schtuff!
I cut the presents out with some gold shimmer paper and red foil paper. It's kind of hard to capture the soft gold shimmer in a photo.
I adhered them onto a Avery Elle wonky rectangle. I added a few branches from Impression Obsession Pine Sprig Clusters, some red sequins, and sparkly gold enamel dots. The sentiment is stamped in black from Taylored Expressions In and Out Christmas.
If you would like to get a start on your Christmas cards, come join us at the Christmas Card Challenge...we would love to have you join us!
