Taylored Expressions Little Bits Shamrocks

Hi everyone!

Today Jaydee has a fun color challenge for us at The Paper Players...right in time for St. Patty's day!

That's what I chose to make anyway!

I stamped the sentiment from Boreka and cut it out with MFT's pierced squares. I layered it with several other fun patterned squares, and added some tiny shamrocks from Taylored Expressions Little Bits.

St. Patricks Day is a special day for me, as it's the day my daughter was born!

She was my first, and back then, we were living in our home town, with lots of friends and family around. Everyone was SO excited, and giving me their ideas of when I would have the baby. My hubby's grandma kept telling me that I would have the baby on HER birthday, which was St. Patricks Day.
I have to say that it all made me nervous! I didn't want to disappoint anyone I guess...LOL.
But yes, that was the day she was born, the same as her great grandma. We slipped over to the hospital during the night...parking the car around the back, thinking no one would notice. But sure enough...it's a small town....I had 3 grandma's peeking into my room before I knew it.

I had fun thinking about that day as I made this card!

LOL, what a fun story! I know a couple of St Pat's babies too! I try to not give them green cards for their birthdays but somehow a little green always sneaks in there! Your card is fun and delightful!

Laurie, I love the multiple DSPs - you brought them together fabulously and, of course, you would have some awesome shamrock dies and I am in love with that font - it just seems perfect for St Patty's. Fabulous card. thanks for rocking my challenge this week, my friend
