Disney's Olaf for The Paper Players

I'm the host this week at The Paper Players and I chose:

I love this color combo!

For Christmas one of my kids gave me Disney's Olaf die. I think he's just too cute! I did buy some stuffed animal Olaf's at Macy's this year too. I don't have any little kids or grandkids to give them too, but they were such a good deal and so cute I had to have them. I donated them to the local toy drive.

For my card, I started out by cutting out a few Lil Inker stitched rectangles. Then I added Tim Holtz trees for a background, cut out in white for a snowy back drop for Olaf. I did a bit of paper piercing on Olaf before I adhered him to the card. The expression on his face is so happy! I added a couple of tiny black jewels for his eyes.

I used my stitched hearts from Memory Box and adhered a few here and there. The sentiment is from Poppystamps Grateful Heart stamp set.

An Olaf die - how awesome Laurie! I've made him our of punch art before but this is just the bomb!! Love the little bit of paper piecing and how the layering adds so much dimension to the white layers - it makes the red really pop too! A fab card and colour challenge this week!

Well, who doesn't love snowmen? You don't have to be a kid to adore this lovable character. Love those trees in the background, too. What a darling Valentine, or even a Christmas card!

Laurie this was a fun color challenge! Your card is adorable, and I think suitable for both Christmas or Valentines day. It's so funny we both used a Christmas gift for this challenge!
