Framed Alcohol Ink Card

Hi everyone!

Today's card I made with alcohol inks and a stencil. I liked it so much I framed it!

I used a piece of glossy paper, and taped down my stencil onto my mat. Then I just dropped on different ink colors. After it dried, I moved my stencil around the paper repeating the process.

When it completely dried I added a frame I made with my Lil Inker stitched rectangles. Then I adhered the sentiment from Memory Box.

I just couldn't get a great picture of the true colors and the beautiful shine.

I'm entering this at:

Have a great day!

this is really lovely - and the stencil gives it such great texture and interest - did the alcohol inks harm your stencil? did you just used blender to clean it off?

Stunning! I would have kept it too... It really is a shame that the camera can't do justice to alcohol ink masterpieces!

I've never seen such a beautiful alcohol ink background! The stenciling shows up so well, rather than being all smooshed out. I LOVE it! Gorgeous colors, and definitely frameworthy!

Yes Betty, I cleaned it with the blender solution, but it did not all come off!

Wow Laurie - this is really stunning! I adore the background and the finished product is beautiful. Funny enough I've been trying to make an entry for the Mixed Media Challenge as well this morning - I might just throw the results away :)
