Hi everyone! Today LeAnne has a beautiful color challenge at The Paper Players for us:
I used Cheery Lynn's Cherry Blossom die for all three colors. The Nuvo Crushed Grape dots in the centers are a close match to the Wisteria Wonder. I know cherry blossoms are usually pink, but mine are eggplant...LOL!
I made 2 cards, very similar but with different sentiments from Mama Elephants Scripty Bday stamp set. I love that set...the font is so fun!
I hope you will join us!

Wonderful card, Laurie. The cherry blossom looks beautiful in the colours you've used. That's why the expression 'artistic license' was invented! ;-) xx
I have this Cherry Blossom die too but never think to use it..... now that I see it in the colors you've used, I need to dig it out and give it a shot. Like how you have it arranged on your card with that scripty font.
I love the detail on those florals Laurie - they add wonderful texture and depth. A lovely swirly font too for a fabulous card!
Your blooms are perfectly lovely...in our stamping world, we can make them any color we want! They look so nice against that clean white background; they really stand out!!
Look at those perfect little Nuvo drops -- so pretty and fun! Really love the font on the sentiment. And those cherry blossoms -- they don't even have to be cherry blossoms. They can be any flower you want, and I like them in purple!
So pretty! I like the clean crispness of the white with the strong pop of the coloured flowers. The touches of various textures you've added really elevate the design. Love it, Laurie.
Such a fresh and happy card! Love that die and sentiment font. Hope you're having a great week ~ Hugs, Annie.
Such a pretty pair of cards, Laurie! I love the white layers, and enamel dots are my favorite!
So pretty, Laurie! I love the white on white layers and the scrolling font of the sentiment. What a great die!
This is so pretty, Laurie! I love those gorgeous flowers! Perfect in any color! The script on your sentiment is so fun! I sure hope you are having a great week! XX
Laurie, I love that you took the cherry blossom and made it into these wonderful rich flowers. I love the big, bold sentiment, too. Gorgeous card!
p.s. hope the storm passes you by tomorrow... we are due lots!
hugs
