I'm a little teapot.....

Today Nance has a theme challenge for us at The Paper Players:

I love this photo!

It reminds me of my mom, who collected tea cups. When I was little, every Sunday, or when there was company, the fancy cups came out. I LOVED looking at all the pretty designs and patterns. When I was old enough, I also got to use one for my hot chocolate. I thought I was SO grown up! I still have a couple of them, and I keep them in a special spot in my hutch. Once in awhile I take them out and think of my mom. Happy memories!

Another childhood memory I have is singing a favorite song called "I'm a little teapot." I loved to do the actions along with...so fun! When I was at our local craft store I came across this cute paper.... complete with the childhood song I loved.... and knew it would be just perfect for this challenge!

All I did was back it on a Lawn Fawn scalloped stitched rectangle and add a bow with some twine.

So EZ...... but so cute!

I hope you will join us! Check out the rest of the design team here:

Oh my goodness, so cute! May I ask who makes both panels of patterned paper?

Oh, my gosh, it's so unbearably CUTE! The paper, the song... I used to sing it and do all the actions, too. My mom taught it to me. I was fascinated by all of Mom's pretty things. Her button collection and fabrics and paints are what I was most enchanted by and I still love all those things. You've gone and made me all nostalgic now.

I love this card and what great memories it brings back to me as well singing that card and doing the actions to it when I was a little youngster. And, believe me, that was quite some time ago. LOL Your card is just awesome and thanks so much for sharing it. I wish I could find some paper like that now too!

I wish I had a few sheets of that adorable paper! We don't have any cute shops left in ATL. You are lucky to find such a treasure! I sure hope you are having a TEA-RIFFIC week, My Friend! XX
