This week Jaydee has a sketch challenge for us at The Paper Players:
I used 3 colors to represent the 3 panels that gradually get larger, then I added a watercolor cover plate from Altenew over the top.
The sentiment is from Simon Says called Painted Happy Birthday. I added a few sequins to finish the card.

Love this Laurie - a great card that you could make in lots of colours and would suit pretty much anyone. I love the paintbrush effect of the script and stripes too.
That cover plate is fabulous! It's such a modern looking card and I like that it is gender neutral. Clever way to use the sketch, Laurie.
That cover plate is perfect for the sketch! Gosh, do I ever love it! The little bit of orange in the color combo makes it a nice fall card, but I would love it for any season.
Such a creative way to interpret the sketch! I LOVE that cover plate...hmmm...I think my shopping freeze is thawing! LOL!
