The Paper Players Color Challenge

This week at The Paper Players Joanne has a color challenge for us:

I LOVE traditional Christmas colors! Thanks Joanne!

For my card I used Falala Holiday Shapabilities die. It's so festive!

I cut it out in black and red and layered it on top of a Tutti Design Scalloped Stitched Circle.

The background paper is from Stampin' Up. I added a twine bow for embellishment.

Here's list of supplies I used:
Paper: SU
Stamps: Lawn Fawn Here We go a Waddling
Ink:SU black
Dies: Tutti Designs Scalloped stitched circles,Shapeabilities Falala Holiday
Other: twine

You can check out the design team here:

Have a great day!

Laurie, as the lucky recipient of this card, I can tell everyone that it is even more fabulous in person than it is on screen. The layered silhouette's really pop off the background and the die-cut really gives so much movement. Absolutely fabulous card!

I really love the way you use circles to partially highlight your dies. This works out so beautifully with the silhouette kids and the designer paper. I'm always happiest when I can manage at least a little bit of designer paper. Cute, Laurie!

Laurie... love everything about this card. The background, layout, the shadow behind the die cut...everything. I have already checked out the die!
I can't thank you enough for this year...the team's support and friendship were so precious to me throughout treatment. I have loved being on this DT...it has been so much fun! I will definitely miss the camaraderie each week. I am not disappearing though, I still plan to play along each week!

This is a really super card, Laurie. The way you've layered those dies is fabulous and the shadowing in red under the black silhouette is an unexpected inversion of colours - lovely. Your vast collection of dies has never ceased to amaze me over my time with the team and you've shown me new ways to think about the ones I have. Thank you.

What a fun card, Laurie! I love how you added the “shadow” behind the trio of carolers. You always have the most fun dies. I can only imagine your collection and I’m super envious.

Laurie this is such a fun card - I can almost feel the movement and joy of those children as they race about their festivities! Great layering and I love the inverted colouring to highlight your silhouette - unusual and very clever. Jaydee is a fortunate recipient of this masterpiece!
