Hi everyone, happy May Day!
I can't believe it's MAY already. I wonder if I will get any May baskets...haha!
When the kids were little they loved making them and leaving them at the neighborhood kids doors. We had LOTS of kids in our neighborhood so it took awhile to make all those baskets. But it was fun, and many good memories were made...my kids still talk about it!
But today it's all about FLOWERS for May Day at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.
I used Memory Box Forget Me Not Blooms...I cut some out in blue to match the gingham paper...and added pearls for the centers. I added a row of pearls across the card. The sentiment "Thanks" is also from Memory Box, I just love the beautiful font.
Here's a list of the dies I used:
I hope you will play along!

This is so beautiful Laurie! LOVE the gingham and your little blue flowers are precious! LOVELY design too! Great job!
Beautifully created card and beautiful forget me nots, one of my favorite flowers. I love the blue gingham at the bottom and your pretty design!!
What a sweet card! I remember making May baskets to hang on our neighbors doors in the spring. I would pick these small white flowers from the grass and put them in a cup, much like the flowers on your beautiful card!!
This is just gorgeous! Love the gingham and that touch of pearls just makes it fabulous! Great card!
A vert pretty and fresh looking card Laurie. I haven't heard of May baskets! I assume they contained lovely goodies....maybe chocolate? xx
Very pretty card with the sweet forget me not blooms!!
Beautiful Forget Me Not blossoms and the colors are gorgeous.
So cute! I love that you made the flowers little Forget-Me-Nots. You have a bazillion dies and I love seeing what you'll use next. So much fun! When I was a kid we made May baskets and it was the most fun. I don't know if they were doing it when my son was little, but he might not have been too interested, being a boy.
Beautiful design. I love the gingham with the flowers.
