Lighting the way

Hi everyone!

The challenge this month at Addicted to Stamps and More is:

I went the vintage route with Spellbinders Shapabilities Lighting the Way die. I think this is so adorable!

 I have sooo many dies that I have not used, so my goal this year is to use as many as I can. I found this one in my Christmas stash.

Dala Christmas

I made a card that features the Dala from Neat and Tangled, one of my all time favorite die and stamp sets! 

Here in Minot ND we celebrate Hostfest every year, which is a Scandinavian Festival. There's lefsa, krumkaka, swedish meatballs...every food you can think of including lutefisk...lol Lots of gifts and entertainment too.

We like to volunteer each year...its always lots of fun.

So I often find myself making cards with the Dala...here I added him to a heart frame from Avery Elle. The rectangle is from Tutti Designs. I added a bit of speckles too!

Spellbinders Tis the Season CCC April

Hi everyone! The challenge at Christmas Craft Creations is:

I went with pink and used Spellbinders Magical deer. I used 2 embossing folders...as I'm trying to use them more often....the top is Stampin Up Flurries and the bottom is Sizzix Winter Snowflakes. The sentiment is from Creative Expressions.

The challenge at Christmas Craft Creations is:

I dug out this designer paper from my stash with the cute skates and swirls. Then I added the border from Joy Crafts and some tiny skates from Memorybox.

The sentiment is stamped on a dotted circle from Tutti Designs. I added a few tiny snowflake shaped sequins too.

Feb Christmas Craft Creations

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by.

Today's card is for the challenge at Christmas Craft Creations.

I started out with the embossing folder from Stampin' Up. Then I adhered the bulb from Spellbinders called Nordic Ornaments, and the swirl from My Favorite Things. The sentiment is from Reverse Confetti.

This card has some of my favorites...beginning with that embossing folder. It makes a perfect background for so many of my cards. The swirl is an oldie but goodie, and that JOY fits perfectly in so many spots.

Christmas Craft Creations Jan glitter/sparkle challenge

Time for the January challenge at Christmas Craft Creations!

It's all about glitter and sparkle, so I got into my glitter paper and made a festive Mouse from Spellbinders.

I created a winter scene with the folder Snowflake background from Darice, and the border edger from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment is from Simply Cards and Papercrafts.

Christmas Craft Creations December challenge

Here's the challenge at Christmas Craft Creations:

I pulled out my Birch press Radiant Ornament die and did some layering in red, white and greens. I added a silver foil topper and tied on some silver bells with silver twine.

I adhered it to a Tutti Designs Dotted Nesting Rectangle. Then I stuck a Tutti Designs fir branch behind it.

The sentiment is from Memory box, cut out in silver foil.

I made a clean and simple card with some dies from Memory box. I love these cute skates and I put them in the middle of a wreath. Then I adhered it to a Tutti Designs square. The sentiment is stamped underneath.

Here's the challenge at Christmas craft creations this month:

I used the beautiful Peaceful Wishes from Mama Elephant and heat embossed in silver. The rectangle is from Frantic Stamper, and I backed it on some pretty designer paper in purple and silver. A few silver sequins completed the card.
