More fun with the cricut cartridge, Walk in My Garden!

 I used some old SU DP, and some black and white paper for the card base. I put some pearls in the centers of the tiny flowers. The sentiment is from the Friends and Flowers Clear Stamp Set.

 Love that cartridge!

Cricut Nifty Fifties card

I love this retro cat!

 I cut it out with my cricut using the Nifty Fifties cartridge. I thought the sentiment from Crafty Secrets went well with it.

Just a quick post today...I made this card using my friends cricut cartridge, Handy Man. I've been making a lot of guy cards ...they are my biggest challenge. Sure is easy though, using this cartridge!

Cricut Star tags

Hi!

I've been spending alot of time with my cricut lately...cutting out all kinds of fun stuff.


I made these cute little tags with SU's Calypso Coral and Wistoria Wonder card stock and brads. The bakers twine is from My Minds Eye. The sentiment is from Angel Co. stamped in black Memento ink.

Tags are one of my favorite things to make!

Cricut Thank you card

I needed a quick thankyou card for someone at school and came up with this. I emboosed the bottom with my swiss dots folder and added some SU ribbon in the center. The apple was cut some time ago with my cricuit that I took out of my card candy stash. I added a simple Thanks at the top!

Cricut quack card!

This card was made using the "Just Because" Cricut cartridge. I love those little ducks! I cut out some smaller ducks to use on some baby onsie cards,too. They are just so sweet.
The sentiment is stamped in SU black ink from Angel Company. I had so much fun cutting out stuff from my friends cartridge I think I need to ask to borrow a different one now. I'm in the mood for Halloween..wonder what cartridge she has for that.......

Cricut Sunshine Card

Once again I used the Just Because cricut cartridge to make this card. I love all the images on that cart!

This sun is kinda funky so it caught my eye right away, and I cut out several to have on hand for future projects. I used 2 for this card and put a button on the top big sun to add alittle interest. I stamped You brighten my day with SU black ink from Close to my heart's set, Because of You.

I work at a gift shop in the summers and we sell alot of sayings and signs..."You are my Sunshine" has been a popular sign this season. So has "Twinkle twinkle little star." People buy them to decorate their nurseries. I always have a lot of fun watching people pick out their purchases...sometimes I can even guess what they will buy!

"Catch you later" cricut card

Good morning!

I've been doing alot of fishing lately so this "caught" my eye when I was cutting out stuff from the Just Because cricut cartridge the other day.

We've been out on our pontoon catchin' lots of sunnies and crappies not to far from our dock. I love eating fresh pan fish! 

I haven't fished for years, since my dad used to take me out when I was a kid. Brent used to fish quite a bit but hasn't for several years.  So.... we decided to get our licences this summer and spend some time on the lake fishing. We got them just in time,too, the night BEFORE the Minnesota government shut down! What a mess that was...I'm glad it's over!

Sunglasses, my lucky fishing hat, poles, poor little minnows, tackle box, and  a couple of cold ones is my idea of nice, relaxing, sunny summer day!

Happy Birthday Cricut Card

What another beautiful day here up north! I didn't have to work today and was able to spend most of it outside...well except for making this card....and taking a nap!

I need to spend some time using my cricut though, and it may rain tomorrow so maybe I'll take the opportunity to stay indoors and cut. I need to finish using the cartridge "Just Because" that I borrowed and still haven't returned.

"Just Because" cricut cartridge Birthday card

On a boat is a good place to be in this heat! My glasses fog up when I walk out the door....the humidity up here is crazy!

 To escape the heat I've been staying inside. I've been enjoying cutting on my cricut in my craft cave this weekend..nice and cold in there..so cold I need a sweatshirt on!

I borrowed my friends "Just Because" cartridge and have been happily cutting cute little sailboats and ducks...and well... all kinds of fun stuff.

The card I am sharing today is made with the little sailboats....and I love the saying, "You float my boat." I tied "Happy Birthday" tags on the rope.

Surprise! I'm back!

 I've been enjoying taking some time off from blogging. It's been a busy spring.... and summer looks like it will be the same, so I'm not sure how much I'll be blogging, but I plan to post when I get a chance.

Alot has happened since I posted last, and I probably need to change my blog up a bit, because I quit as a Stampin Up demonstrator. One of the good things about that is that now I can blog about which product brands I used for my cards, not just SU. I won't have to say "non SU" all the time! The bad thing is now I don't get an SU demo discount! Bummer.

The card I'm sharing today is a 4th of July card I made to send to one of my friends. I had some scraps leftover so I made a cute little tag too!

Cricut Christmas Card

I saw this polar bear on one of my cartridges and thought he was so cute! So I cut one out large enough to fill the card, and added some tiny pearls to his scarf. I embossed the background with a snowflake folder, and punched out the snowflake. I also put a dew drop in the middle. I plan to use this as a thank you card...I always need quite a few after Christmas!

Cricut Christmas gift cards holders

Good Morning!

Today I'm sharing some gift card holders that I cut out with my cricut. I love making and giving gift cards.

I used SU's Jolly Holiday paper, and stamped Merry Christmas with SU Cherry Cobbler ink. The ribbon is leftover from an old SU Holiday mini catty. I also used SU's word window and modern label punches. I dug into my button jar for the little red buttons.

I'm almost finished with all my Christmas shopping. I just need to buy the gift cards to put in these!

Snowglobe Christmas card

I had alot of fun making this card!  Everything but the snowflakes were cut out on my cricut, I punched those out. I added a dew drop to the center of the snowflake, and some glitter to the snowman.

This card is for my daughter, as she LOVES snow globes. She has quite a collection of them. I hope she likes it!

Cricut Christmas Basket

I cut out this box on my cricut with SU's last years Christmas designer paper, Ski Slope. I stock piled that paper as it's one of my all time favorites. The larger snowflake is cut with my cricut, and the smaller one is a punch. I added a dew drop in the middle. The handle also has some snowflakes on it...it doesn't show up well in this picture,though.

I have a problem. This past month while I was making Christmas projects, I would grab stamps from different sets as I needed them. BUT... I didn't put them back right away. Now I have a bunch of stamps sitting out that I'm not sure which sets they even belong too. Like the stamp I used for this box,"to and from."  I can't remember which set it belongs too!

I guess some long, cold, winter day in January, I'll be spending time looking up all those stamps and finding their homes!

Cricut Christmas card

I'm loving the cherry cobbler paper! I think it looks so nice with my fave color..... old olive. Did you notice that the pear pizazz ribbon goes really well with the old olive, too? I've been using it alot together.

I cut out the Christmas bulb with my cricut, and also the bit of holly leaves. They were cut with some Christmas cartridges I borrowed from a friend. I liked them so much I decided to buy some. They were retired cartridges... wouldn't you know...but I was lucky enough to find them on ebay for a good deal. So now I have my own. Actually they are some Christmas presents Brent is giving me...he just doesn't know it yet!

Good morning!

I was playing around with my Cricut the other day and cut out this rolling pin...I'm going to use it as a bookmark for my recipe book. I made some smaller ones to use as gift tags. I think they'd look cute on a plate of cookies.

Congratulations

I was playing around with my personal die cutting machine yesterday and cut out this glass...I thought it would be cute for a congratulations card. The paper is SU's new Marina Mist which I am liking ALOT. The DP is old, I got it from a friend a few years ago. It's very cheery and bright!
