Snowflake 5x5" card

Well, as long as I had the Snow wheel out the other day, I thought I'd see what it would look like with gold ink. This time I used vanilla paper, and was going to make a card like the silver one when I remembered seeing a snowflake somewhere using the Martha Steward fern punch. She had used crystal effects on the fern branches and paper snowflakes layering them together. I don't have any snowflake punches so I used the wooden one, a felt snow flurry, and the fern branches. You can't really see from the picture, but it looks really neat! The gold doesn't show well on the photo either, I seem to have a hard time with the silver and gold craft ink photographing nicely. I wish I would have bookmarked the original snowflakes I had seen. She had made alot of them and I really liked them! Hopefully I'll run into her blog again sometime. I have so many under my favorites it's crazy. I love to read blogs!

Recipe:

Paper: riding hood red, chocolate chip, ski slope, vanilla

Ink: craft gold

Stamps: snow wheel

Other: Alpine ribbon, gold brad, wooden snowflake, snow flurries, fern punch

Snow Wheel

Isn't he cute? He was outside of Scheels today helping collect money! Everyone was taking his picture and putting money in the container. I bet they made alot! We had a great shopping trip and fun day. Our son and Brent's mom came with and we met my daughter and her boyfriend for lunch and some more shopping. I had a great time!

The other day I was cleaning up my stamp room and found a snowflake wheel I hadn't used yet from last year. I wonder what I was going to use it for? I couldn't remember. So I inked it up with silver and ran it over white paper. Then I took a wooden snowflake and inked that up with silver, too. I put some glitter on it and a crystal brad in the middle. I thought it would look good with baja breeze paper and was just about to put it all together when I decided to stamp snowflakes with baja breeze ink randomly over the card first. Hmmm. I like the card, but I still wonder what I had in mind when I bought the wheel!
Happy Saturday! I am off for a day of shopping and will post later tonite!

Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas tree

I love that song! I was singin' it as I made this card. I used my scallop circle nestabilities again. I'm having good luck with the embossing since I have been running it through twice on my cuttlebug. I tried thickening the sandwich with some added paper for backing and now I've found the perfect combination for my bug. I think each bug must be alittle bit different, as I have tried several sandwiches from other people and they weren't quite right. For this card I used the deer friends set. I stamped the tree with old olive, used my glitter pen, cut it out and used a foam square to pop it up a bit. I put a square under the scallop circle too. A pretty simple card! Well, I'm hoping to get my tree today and can't wait for the fresh pine smell added to the house. Every year we talk about getting an artificial tree, but like everything else we talk about doing, we never get around to it! This time I'm glad because I really do appreciate a real tree!

Christmas Ornament

I found this ceramic ornament at Ben Franklin and wondered if the SU rub-ons would work on it. Yep, they did. So I tied some of the Alpine ribbon on the top and added a large brad with some snow flurries. I like it. I've never thought of brown as a color for Christmas, but I have to say I've been having fun with it. This took me about 5 minutes to make. I think I'll be on the look out for more things to use my rub-ons with!

Merry Wishes

Last year we made this card over at JaNell's and Yvonne's SU workshop. I really liked it so I made a few more for this year to send out. I like the gate fold and really should try making more cards using it. I also like the look the spiral punch adds. In fact, it was this card that made me order the punch! I've used it alot on several projects. I think I use my punches more than any other tools I have.

RECIPE:

Paper:hunter, white, ruby red,blush blossom

Ink:ruby red, river rock

Stamps: Birthday Whimsey

Other: tab punch, spiral punch, circle punch, button, brad

Justrite Stamps- First Try

Well, I tried out my Justrite stamps on this project. I have been having quite a time with them. First the rubber came off the round wooden stamper, and I don't think it's supposed too, so I plan on returning that soon. Then I found this tutorial over on splitcoast on how to condition the stamps.http://splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/conditioningjustritestamps/ I tried the conditioning on the one I used for this jar and it is working, but I think I need to do it some more. It doesn't stamp as clear as I would like. First I want to check back at K&K crafts before I do to much with them and see what advice they have. If I can figure it all out I think I will really use them alot! I used Holiday Treasure paper around the jar, and my scallop circle nestie with riding hood red paper. {The sandwich for using a nestie in a cuttlebug is: A plate,B cutting plate, paper face up and cutting die face down, C plate. To emboss it, A plate, B plate, die with paper you just cut in it flipped over so you can't see the image, rubber plumber gasket mat, 2 layers of card stock, and B plate. For more info check http://www.stampinpretty.com/nestabilities-build-a-bet.html} Then I stamped with my broken Justrite stamp using chocolate chip ink onto vanilla paper. I sponged some riding hood red onto the bag on the image. Then I attached some snow flurries with a crystal brad. I used blue and red snowflurries to match the dots on the paper that you can't really see on this photo. {Love those felt snowflakes!} On the top of the jar, I have a chocolate chip scallop covering the Starbucks words. Then I tied the jar with striped ribbon. I think I may redo the stamp when I have some extra time and see if I can get the image to show better. I'll let y'all {I am watching Paula Deen} know what happens with the Justrite stamps in future posts. What I am really interested in is getting an alphabet and being able to make my own sentiments. The stamps are priced reasonably so if I can get 'em working the way I want too, maybe I can ask Santa for the alphabet!

Pumpkin recipes

Opps! I just noticed my small pumpkin must have slippped down when I took this photo. I don't have time to redo, but you can still read the recipe, so I will leave it for now!
This dessert feeds quite a few because it's so rich you may want to cut the pieces smaller. It has lotsa butter so you know it tastes great! I have made it many times and it is wonderful. Here's another lighter pumpkin recipe:

Crustless pumpkin pie is a real treat for WW people as it is only 1 "thingy"
for 1 piece. Put a dab of lite Cool Whip on top and you will never notice the crust is missing! I make it year round. I love pumpkin pie so I don't wait for the Holidays. Brent likes it too, and not once has noticed that it hasn't a crust or is made with lighter ingredients!

I have to add another favorite pumpkin recipe. It's another winner! This is from a co-worker at school. She brings it quite often and it's become her signature dish around work. It's really delicious. I guess you think all we do at work is eat with all the recipes I share from there!

Pumpkin Pie Squares

1 c. flour

1/2 c. quick oats

1/2 c. brown sugar

1/2 c. butter,softened

Hope you enjoy these recipes!

Christmas Blossom Tags

I told you I like to make tags! Here are some more. I made some cards similar to these that I posted awhile back, and these are made from the scraps leftover from that project. I also used some of the embossing card candy we made over at Peg's last week for the sentiment. I like using up scraps as my scrap box is overflowing! For the past two years I've made all my Christmas tags. It's fun to come up with something different each year. Last year I attached pine cones to all of them and tied them onto the gifts with raffia. I also tied raffia and pine cones on my tree. I'm not sure what I'll do this year...but it'll soon be time to go get a tree! I'm hoping this Friday over Thanksgiving break we will find the time to get it. I'm hoping it's not cold either, so we can hang up our Christmas lights. Every year we say we're going to hang them up early, when it's warmer, but it never happens. So I guess I'll be holding the lights freezing while Brent is on the ladder hanging them. Brrrr.

6" by 6" recipe page Taco Lasagna

I found this recipe years ago in a Taste of Home magazine, and it's been a favorite of ours ever since. Now that it's just the 2 of us, I make half at a time, using a 9x9" pan. I usually freeze half of the meat mixture and half of the refried beans for another nite and assemble it then. I haven't tried to freeze it already made, afraid the tortillas would get soggy. I should try it sometime and see what happens. I know it's great heated up the next day as leftovers, if there are any! Usually not. I often serve it with lettuce, sour cream, and tomatoes on the side. I don't have the nutrition info for this but it should be pretty WW friendly if you use WW or low fat shredded cheese. I often serve this for company and I served it alot for my son and his friends when he was still living at home.

For dessert I like to serve Cinnamon tortilla chips and dip. You can make this 2 ways. Real butter for those not watching calories or for those that are, use I can't believe it's not butter spray. Both ways are yummy, I can guarantee that! I often bring them to parties, too, as an appetizer. They go fast, so make alot! Here's the recipe:

Cinnamon Chips
1 pkg. flour tortillas, cut into wedges with a pizza cutter
Dip in melted butter and a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. { for low fat- spray with I can't believe it's not butter and then dip in cinnamon and splenda mixture.Arrange on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10 minutes until crisp.

Dip:

4 oz.softened cream cheese {fat free for WW}

4 1/2 tsp. sugar {or splenda}

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

1 6oz. vanilla yogurt {low fat for WW}

Mix and serve with chips.

Scallop Nestabilities Cards

After I made the scallop bib cards the other day, I decided to try some Christmas ones. I think they will look good tied on gift bags. These are almost as much fun to make as 3x3 note cards, and you know how I like to make those! You can see how I am liking the snowflurries, too, I may have to get some of those felt flowers sometime. I can't use snowflakes all year long...well I guess up here the snow does last almost that long. Depressing isn't it! I think I would use the flowers alot, too though. For these I did not use the oval punch at the top, but the horizontal slot to tie the ribbon. I also used the 1 and 1/16 " circle punch around the scallops of the Nestie. I like the look that adds....besides it's fun to do!

Recipe:

Paper: riding hood red, Baja breeze, chocolate chip

Ink: white craft, riding hood red, choc.chip

Stamps: baby it's cold outside, so many scallops

Other; scallop circle punch and nestabilities, felt ribbon, snowflurries, crystal brads, riding hood red ribbon

Baby Bib Cards

Aren't these precious? There have been so many baby showers lately I am totally out of baby cards. So when I saw these over on Patty's blog the other day, I thought they'd be fun to make to help replenish my stash. These are my version. She used the SU scallop circle die, but since I don't have one, I used my nestabilities. I think mine are smaller, I'm not sure. I took a piece of 5 x 8 1/2" paper and folded it in half. Then I put my largest scallop circle Nestability on the fold like this: I ran it through my cuttlebug twice, then again to emboss. Here is a link to the sandwiches I used http://www.stampinpretty.com/nestabilities-build-a-bet.html. I used the large oval punch for the neck, then I punched holes around the scallops, and stamped stars randomly over the bib. I stamped the sentiment and punched it out with the scallop circle punch. I thought the heart eyelets would be fun to use for these. I used my cropadile for that, and tied the ribbon through them. On the inside I stamped, "A baby is a gift from heaven above- bringing joy down to earth, filling hearts full of love." I really like them. There's another shower at work coming up and I can't wait to use one!

Recipe:

Stamps: So Many Scallops, God's Blessings

Paper: so saffron, bashful blue, pretty in pink

Ink: so saffron, bashful blue, pretty in pink

Other: nestabilities, scallop circle punch, eyelets, ribbon, large oval punch

A2 Box and Card Set

I followed Beate's tutorial over on splitcoast to make this A2 box and card set.http://splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/a2cardbox/ I can't believe how easy the box went together. And I am happy to say I am getting much better using my scallop edge punch, too. You can't tell from the photo, but the edges of the box are scalloped. These would make great gifts. The cards take alot more time than the box! This is a Christmas set made with the Ski Slope paper and the Alpine ribbon. My friends and I really got into embossing the other day and I used the ones I had made for these cards. I reached for the Scandinavian Christmas set again that I just can't get enough of. I hope SU comes out with some more Scandinavian design stamps other than Christmas so I could use them year round. Flowers would be great. For each card I used different ribbon, otherwise they are all pretty much the same design. I'm having fun with dew drops as you can see. Lately I have been putting them on everything I think of! I use crystal effects to adhere them to the trees, and that worked really well. But I need to dig out my jewelry tools. Yes, I used to make jewelry. I haven't since I took up cards, though. My friend Lynn makes the most wonderful necklaces and she gave me lessons. She is still cranking them out each one better than the next! But I on the other hand just can't leave my stamps alone, so my jewelry tools are not being used....except for my great idea. I think I can use the tweezers to pick up those tiny dew drops!!! I'll let you know if it works. I still haven't put a sentiment inside any of my Christmas cards yet. I'm hoping to find one I like on some shopping trips coming up. Gotta start my Christmas shopping soon!
Recipe:
Paper: riding hood red, ski slope, chocolate chip
Ink: gold embossing powder with versamark
Stamps: Scandinavian Season, Holidays and Wishes
Other: dew drops, choc.chip, riding hood red, alpine and very vanilla ribbon, scallop edge punch, eyelets, scorepal

2009 Coaster Calendar

I love making these coaster calendars. For this one I used the Ski Slope paper out of the Holiday Mini. I really like everything from the mini catalog this time. My favorites are the Scandinavian set, the Alpine ribbon, and the Ski Slope paper. I'm starting to wonder about the new catty coming out in January. It's always so fun to see whats new. It's not that far off either! I'm keeping this calendar for my desk, but I plan to make some more to tuck in with Christmas gifts, too. There's a great tutorial for them over on splitcoast if you want to make some, too! http://splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/chipboard_calendar/

RECIPE:

Paper: ski slope, chocolate chip,white

Ink: chocolate chip

Stamps: baby it's cold outside

Other; felt ribbon, brads, jumbo eyelets

Fall Candy Bags

Aren't these cute? It's just patterened paper and SU paper punched with circle punches and adhered to Reese's peanut butter cups. I used my Debbie Mumm pad for the fall paper. I put a couple in each bag and tied them with chocolate chip ribbon. The other day when we got together to stamp, Peg had asked us to each bring something to put in a treat bag. So I quick threw these together. Here's another photo:

6" by 6" recipe page Dorothy's Potato Soup

Mmmmm. I made this potato soup the other day. It's so good! I have never been a fan of potato soup, but a few years ago, a co-worker talked me into trying some. I love potatoes so I thought, "Why not?" I'm glad I did. I make it all the time now. It's one of our favorite soups. Very easy to make, and tastes even better the next day! I've made it with lite sour cream and low fat soup and it tastes good, too. {ww people-3 things for 8 servings}

Recipe:

Paper:ruby red, patterned paper

Other: scallop square punch, square punch, riding hood red ribbon, SU clip

Diaper Cake

My friend Judy made this diaper cake for a baby shower at work today. I think it turned out great! I like the way she used the Alpine ribbon around the cake, the colors go perfect with the sock monkey. I took this quick picture and then left my gift. I didn't stay for the shower as I am still trying to get over my cold, so I headed home to rest. I did grab some punch before I left and it was so good!

Christmas Treat Purses

I saw these purses over on Angie's blog. I thought they would be a good way to break in my Deer Friends set that I got from my SU party last month. I only used the 3 stamps so far on these, I can't wait to use the others. I let my friends use them the other day and they really liked them, too. They were busy making card candy with them. It's just such a fun set, and I love circles. The purses are 6"x 2 3/4" scored at 2", 3", and 5". I stuck a Twix bar inside. They went together so quickly.
Paper:old olive, chocolate chip, riding hood red

Ink: choc. chip, riding hood red, old olive

Stamps: deer friends

Other; scallop circle punch, circle punch, scallop edge punch, brads, ribbon, dew drop

Baby It's Cold Outside!

Brrrrrr....it is cold outside! Here are some pocket type cards I made with the stamp set, "Baby It's Cold Outside." It's from My Favorite Things. I started with a 11"x 4 1/2" piece of cardstock and scored it at 5 1/4" from each end. I used my word window punch to tie the ribbon through to hold it together. Inside it, I adhered a cocoa packet. I plan to put them in a gift basket along with the spoon, so I tied a ribbon on the spoon, too. They were fun to make! Here's what the side looks like:

Recipe:

Stamps: Baby it's cold outside

Paper: riding hood red, chocolate chip, cement, navy, blue, white

Ink: navy, riding hood red

Other: brads, Christmas mix blossoms, riding hood red ribbon, navy ribbon, word window punch, sticker

Beautiful Day

I woke up to this! I know I complain about the cold and snow all the time, but really, it was just beautiful this morning. I had to go get my camera. Some of the snow has already melted since I took this, but the flakes are still falling softly. I plan to run over later and get some of my stampin stuff I left over at Peg's the other day. I finally took a picture of the goodie bag she made us:

How cute is this? She really uses her cricut alot as you can see. I think my favorite is the card with the Martha Stewert fern punch with the Krackle bar sticking out through the window. Notice I didn't eat it yet! She even gave us alittle bag with some ferns she had punched out for card candy. However.... I did eat the M&Ms from the brown packet with the orange leaf on it. Sorry! Gotta have chocolate! There is Kleenex inside the pouch with the flowers on top. How did she know I had a cold? I am going through Kleenex like crazy. So anyway, thanks again Peg for all the fun and the fun goodies! You are a great hostess! When can I come back?

It's a Scandinavian Christmas!

Here I go again with the Scandinavian Seasons stamp set. This time I focused on the star. At first it didn't really show up very well so I backed it on chocolate chip. I also added a pearl to the center. I have a feeling I'm going to get my money outa this stamp set! I need to make my family some cards with this set as I know they will enjoy it. I also plan to make some recipe cards for my Scandinavian Christmas recipes. No, I won't make one for lutifisk. Can't stand the stuff. My Dad always told me, "You aren't truly a Norwegian unless you eat some." {his grandparents came from Norway} So I always took a bite, just for him. But I put LOTSA melted butter on it, and wrapped it up in my lefsa. I can eat anything if it's wrapped in homemade lefsa! Have a happy Saturday!

Stampin Day

Here are a few of the projects we worked on today over at Pegs. We had a fun day. In the morning we went to a craft fair and then headed over to Peg's to stamp and scrap. The top picture is of some treat purses AC made. I really like the hunter green! In the middle is a cool wreath card Peg made from a Martha Stewart fern punch. It had two colors of green in it. She had dry embossed some lines with her scorepal on the sides. So pretty. She was busy today playing with her cricut, too. She has the new software and it is amazing what you can do with it. On the bottom picture is a stocking box Jody was working on. I wonder what she plans to put in it! I forgot to ask. I like the patterned paper she used. She was working on some pocket cards when I left. We ended up making alot of embossing "card candy." Not sure what we will make with it yet, but it sure was fun. We found out that the embossing powder from SU rocks. It looks ALOT better than the stuff from Michael's. It has a richer look and feel. Today I worked on a few things I plan to post this week. Peg also gave us a cute bag filled with fun stuff she made that I will post Sunday. Thanks so much for a great lunch and a fun day!

Harvest Blessing Mix

I made some Blessing Mix, packaged it, tied it with felt ribbon and put it inside this cute wicker pumpkin I found at Michael's. I am going over to a friends house to stamp and scrap and I wanted to bring alittle something to give her. I rolled up the recipe, tied it with some old olive ribbon, and am going to stick it inside the pumpkin along with the mix. I made a small tag with a Thanksgiving stamp I got from my daughter. It's from Stampendous. I used craft, more mustard, and chocolate chip paper for the tag and choc. chip SU ink. I tied it onto the stem of the pumpkin with old olive ribbon. Here is the recipe for the mix:

Harvest Blessing Mix

Bugles: cornucopia, horn of plenty

Pretzels: represents arms folded in thanks

Candy corn: During the first Thanksgiving that winter, the pilgrims were each allotted only 5 kernels of corn per day because food was so scarce

Dried fruit: Thanksgiving is a celebration of the harvest

Peanuts or sunflower seeds: represent the potential of a bounteous harvest for the next season

Well, I better pack all my stuff and head over for a fun day of stampin and scrappin! I can't wait to see what we come up with. It's always interesting! I'll post some of the things we make today soon, so keep checking back!

Christmas Card Swap

Here are all the cards from our Christmas card swap and November card club night. There were 14 of us participating in the swap. We each described the card we brought before we exchanged them and started our shoebox cards. Because of the time, we only did 3 cards. Those 3 are in included in the photos also.{except for the Frosty the Snowman card I brought, as you can scroll down to an earlier post to see him} When I got home that night I realized I had not written down who made what card! I guess there was just so much activity going on that night I forgot. I can't remember all of them now for sure either. So here they are-hope you enjoy them!

Have yourself a merry little Christmas!

Good Morning everyone! We had alot of fun at card club last nite and the cards were really great. I'll get them posted in the next day or two. But for today I have a 3x3" note card to show you. I could sit and make these small note cards all day! {actually I have} I grabbed my Scandinavian Season stamp set and decided to use the mittens. After I had put it all together, I noticed the mittens just kind of faded away into the card, so I sponged the edges to make them stand out more. The striped ribbon on this card is really nice to work with. It came with the brown felt ribbon which I really have been using alot of,too. I'm still having trouble using the scallop edge punch. I find it tricky. I need to keep practicing I guess. Have great Wednesday!

Frosty the Snowman

It's the second Tuesday of the month already and that means Card Club! A group of about 20 of us meet and make 5 cards. We take turns bringing a "shoebox." Inside the shoebox are all the materials to make a card. We pay each person who brought a shoebox $1.00 for each card to help cover costs for the materials. Tonite I am bringing a shoebox and I chose to case the cute Snowman card from Angie. Frosty the Snowman. Who doesn't like Frosty? I do and I hope everyone else will, too! I think he would look nice as a tag on a Christmas present. I even have some adorable snowman Christmas paper he will go nicely with. I think it's a fun card for kids. Tonite we also have our Christmas card exchange, so I will come home with lots of cards! I will post all our creations as soon as I can, so check back. It's always fun to see what others come up with.
RECIPE:
Paper: white, black, orange
Other: circle punches {1/2",1 3/8",1 1/4"} ribbon, glitter, button, white gel pen

It feels like Christmas

We went shopping the other day and everywhere you look there are Christmas decorations up. Christmas music is already playing in the stores, too. Brrrr, it even feels like Christmas! I must feel in the mood too, as I keep cranking out Christmas cards. Here is another one made with the flowers from Making Memories. Diane and AC went to K&K a few days ago and I had them pick me up another jar. They got the last two jars! I have used up quite a few already. I was really after more trees (scroll down to an earlier post for a card I made with them} but after using the flowers, I think I even like them better. Each jar has just a few trees and holly and is filled mostly with flowers. I did distress the edges some on this card, too. Then I added a little ribbon and stamped with my favorite Merry Christmas stamp and it was finished!

RECIPE:

Paper: always artichoke, mellow moss, riding hood red, vanilla

Ink: riding hood red

Stamps: Holidays and Wishes

Sweet and Sour Chicken

OK people, this is a good recipe. If you like sweet and sour chicken, this is a must try. It was quick and easy and oh so very tasty! Brent already asked when we can have it again, so it is definitely a keeper for us. I can't wait to try it on my kids and see if they love it as much as we did. {Shhhh. I am not telling him there are some leftovers, I get this for lunch tomorrow and he gets PB and J!} 11-24-08 Update on this recipe: bake at 325 for about 30-45 min.until chicken is done. An hour seems too long. I recommend doubling the sauce also! I finally found where I got this recipe, too. Kara's Kitchen Creations. I think I'll make some tonite!

RECIPE:

Paper: more mustard, Haiku designer, old olive, white

Other: brads, circle punch

Ink: tangerine tango

Home for Christmas

When I saw this stamp set, I noticed the sentiment first. It just seems so true! It says," Though far and wide on earth we roam, at Christmas time our hearts come home." When Christmas rolls around I always think of my childhood home and all the happy Christmas memories we shared there. My parents have been gone for many years now, but I still feel a yearning at Christmas to go "home." I have to say Christmas is my favorite holiday. My favorite stamps to buy are Christmas, also. When the new catty comes it's the first place I look. I like the image in this set, too. When you look at it, don't you just want to open the door and go right on in? It looks so warm and inviting. I am working on a few more cards using this set. I want to try a water color. Hopefully I will get them done this weekend. So many ideas...so little time. Have a great Saturday!

Ho Ho Ho

There are so many different Santa's made out of punches, but I thought this one from Tinkerin Ink was just too cute. I had to try it! You know how I LOVE punches and am always looking for ways to use them in my projects. I just opened up a package of the snow flurries and thought the red ones would be fun to use on this card. I really had alot of fun making this card. So much so, that I plan to make some more of the Santa's to put on tags. And....you will probably see one coming up on a 6x6 recipe page, too!

RECIPE:

Paper: real red, black, white

Ink: white craft

Stamps:Best yet

Other: circle punches, flower punch, scallop circle, word window, horizontal slot, tag punches, snow flurries, crystal brads

Scandinavian Christmas

I love, love, love this set! It's Scandinavian Season from the Holiday mini catalog. I totally cased this card from the catty. I just fell in love with the card as soon as I saw it. The only thing I changed was the sentiment. Oh, and I didn't have the wheel they used for the side so I used the snowflake stamp with versamark instead. I only made one but I plan to make a few more this weekend. I have never used Kraft paper before and I really like it. I have a ton of ideas I want to try using it, it goes so well with alot of colors. I really don't know why I waited so long to try it!

RECIPE:

Paper: Kraft , ski slope, choc. chip, old olive
Ink: Old Olive, riding hood red, white craft, Versamark
Stamps: Scandinavian Season, Best Yet

Poinsetta Flower

I saw a card made by Nancy Riley using the Pick a Petal stamp set to make a pointsetta. I thought it looked like fun so here is my go at it. I used glitter on the center and put a clear bubble on top. There are so many fun things to make using this stamp set. I have a list of all of them I want to try!

Recipe:
Paper: Holiday Treasures, Bella Rose, choc. chip, vanilla
Other: riding hood red ribbon, clear bubble, glitter
